'If It's Football, It's Vital'

And the Vultures Swoop!

The financial crisis that has afflicted Glasgow Rangers should serve as a warning to us all.

From being handily placed as one of the dominant forces in Scottish football, the ailing giants are now hoping for something akin to a miracle to keep them on the playing field they`ve been accustomed to.

With the club having to reform as a new company, there`s every possibility that the other Scottish Premier League clubs will reject their application to remain in the top-flight.

But the one abiding problem that may see this giant left ailing for several seasons is the apparent exodus by their top players who are not prepare dot se ether contracts transferred over to the new company, even more so when they don`t have an inkling which level of football they`ll be playing.

Steven Davis, who graced our midfield before venturing into Scottish football is one of several that have taken the route described above and is looking to return south to save his career.

Which makes we wonder, although it may seem a harsh ploy, is there anyone left at Ibrox that we could plunder?
