Duff to Down Chelsea!

It`s the big one tonight, the chance to put a huge dent in the Champions League hopes of Chelsea.

Our neighbours, down the Fulham Road, have had a troubled season, a season that has, as usual, seen them dispense with the services of one manager and bring in another.

If I were to be honest, despite the new incumbent of the job, Roberto Di Matteo, stabilising the ship, this is, for me, the ideal chance to turn them over.

Although they`ve suffered mixed fortunes this season, they are still in the FA Cup and the last four of the Champions League, something most teams would give their right arm for.

But, with the squad being rotated with one eye on Spurs and Barcelona, they could be ripe for picking off and we have a hunch that it could be an ex-Chelsea that does the trick, in the shape of Damien Duff.

Duff had a decent couple of years at Chelsea winning a few medals but, someway down the line now, his effectiveness is really appreciated by Martin Jol with our Dutch manager pontificating ahead of the clash,

I`ve known Damien for a long time. I`ve managed teams against him,"

"If you get him on the ball higher up the pitch I think he`s a real handful - he`s like Robben."

"But if you have to defend 4-4-2, it`s different for him. He will work because he`s educated like that - unbelievable."

"He`s disciplined and a team player."

A winning goal by Duff then, does anyone agree?
