Our new goal-scoring hero has given the tabloid press some thoughts as we head towards a fixture at Villa Park this afternoon.
Pavel, having scored five goals in three games, will be looking to get on the score-sheet this afternoon to keep his incredible scoring record going and the Russian, although technically only a loan player, is looking towards Fulham gate-crashing the European places with him remarking,
"The league is very open and if we continue on a good run and win more matches we can enter the race for a European place."
"This can happen because we`re playing at such a good level."
And as for his own form, Pavel added,
"I am surprised by my performances so far and the amount of goals."
"My first objective was to play as many minutes as I could but I`ve managed to profit from my chances."
"The secret to my success has been to employ maximum concentration and to think the Premier League and Bundesliga are not that different."
"The ball is the most important thing - and that`s my mentality."
"Three goals in a Premier League match is not easy and the response form the rest of the squad has been sensational."
"It was special to collect the match-ball after the Wolves game and it now occupies an important place in my home."
Let`s hope it is the first of many.
