'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rolling On and On……

Mark Schwarzer certainly clocks up a few air-miles.

Our Australian goalkeeper was the only European based Australian to make the long trek back to Melbourne to play for Australia when they took on Saudia Arabia in a World Cup Qualifying fixture in midweek.

After completing a 12,000 mile journey, Mark re-iterated his desire to continue to pull on those gloves and keep on playing to ensure he gets the chance to play in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, remarking,

"I love playing for Australia. If the manager keeps picking me I`m going to keep playing."

"I`ve been very open about my goal to play in the World Cup in Brazil - if we qualify - and I want to continue rewriting the record books with Fulham."

Age doesn`t appear to be a barrier where Mark is concerned.
