PP v BZ?

It`ll be interesting to keep tabs on who scores the most goals between closure of the transfer window and the end of the season.

Will it be the departed Bobby Zamora over at Loftus Road, or will it be our very on Russian star, Pavel Pogrebnyak?

The reason I ask the question is that when Bobby left Craven Cottage there were a lot of heavy hearts and, to be perfectly honest his replacement, our Pav, wasn`t exactly welcomed with open arms.

But, surprisingly I`ll admit, Pavel Pogrebuyak has proven t be a solid acquisition netting twice in his first two games whilst the departed Zamora has netted just the once and is anxiously looking over his shoulder at a possible relegation dog-fight.

Pavel, understandably, and perhaps like many newcomers to the Premier League, has mentioned that the sheer pace of the game is exhausting. But, if he continues to out-score Mr Zamora, as we suspect he might, then he will deserve credit for having done his job and have done it well.

If he continues to play well let’s hope we can get him permanently in the summer

He's done very well indeed, the only problem is if he continues to score someone else will nick him in the summer!

worry about that when that problems presents itself... i'd love for fulham to be desperately trying to keep hold of him over the summer, as that means he's scored goals and is a desireable asset... let's hope he can keep scoring as he catches up to the pace of the game...
