A Bit of a Do?
There was a bit of a do after the match yesterday.
Having shaken hands with Mark Hughes, Martin Jol appeared to attempt to pat Hughes on the head.
Hughes took umbrage with that gesture and pushed Jol away, with the Welshman remarking afterwards,
"I deemed that to be slightly patronising."
Whereas Jol`s interpretation was,
"Maybe I made it a bit too personal. I tried to grab his shoulder. But he is a tough guy. He is a winner. Maybe he just doesn`t like me."
Who knows but it was a little amusing!
