Holding on to Clint?

One of my biggest fears, regarding Fulham Football Club, is our ability to keep hold of Clint Dempsey.

The American continues to go from strength to strength and without his goals, this season, I dread to think where we`d be.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that you, the Vital Fulham membership, have voted Clint as the man-of-the-match for the recent fixture against Stoke City.

Clint polled 50% of the vote with the nearest contender polling 25%and that being Pavel Pogrebnyak.

Our latest poll focuses on the future of David Stockdale, please vote carefully!

I predict that Dempsey is gone in the summer. He's already said he wants to play CL football and that's not going to happen with us. He's at the peak of his career. He's gone! Of course, I always thought Hangeland would be poached and that hasn't happened yet, so let's hope I'm wrong again.

Who could blame him for wanting to go to a bigger club. Clint has been a hero for this club, can anyone remember Clint being injured for more than a week or two over the years he has been at the club? He is consistently one of our best performers, conducts himself well on and off the pitch and is an absolute star. Lets just hope that Jol doesn't decide that £25 quid and a kilo of apples isn't a good price and sell Clint off to QPR....

This is my biggest fear as well, I to think that come the summer Clint will be gone I also think that Dembele may also be off as well, our problems will start when we try to replace them after the Zamora fiasco Jol had better get good prices from them if they do go because it’s going to cost a lot on money to get players of similar quality

if he goes we need some money to spend... he's setting records at fulham in the premier league era, so maybe he'll stay, but i doubt it...
