The Thoughts of Martin Jol

The Thoughts of Martin Jol

Many of us don`t quite share Jol`s thoughts about the events of recent days.

The draw last night is something we can stomach, after all we didn`t exactly play like we know we can, but the departure of Bobby Zamora, at a knockdown price, still rankles.

After West Brom had snatched a point last night, with that 82nd minute equalizer, Martin Jol had this to say to the media,

"You can`t say we`re not scoring goals. Clint scored again and is our top scorer. He did what is expected of him."

"That is what he is capable of. I can live with a draw - West Brom are a very organized team."

"People are talking about Bobby Zamora leaving but for us it was the best Bobby could do. It was the best offer and we decided to accept it."

"You want to keep your best players but he wanted to move. It was lingering for months."

Scoring goals?

Heaven help us if Clint picks up a knock!

Wanted to move?

Why? Is the questioning I`d like the answer too!

he seemed content in previous seasons, and went running back to Hughes... it's ridiculous... martin jol can still be a good manager, but i have never wanted a manager out of fulham more than now... shortsighted as it might be.

Same here, the quicker he (Jol) goes the less damage will be done, I am seriously worried about how we will fair this season I can see us getting relegated. Our home form is not what it has been over the last few seasons and he's changed nothing about our away form which basicaly leaves in a bad way. There are rumours of more rows behind the scences with Ray Lewington being removed from first team duties Jol just seems good at****ing people off and not a lot else. Come back Roy we need you.

His purchase of Ruiz has been a disaster, if this new striker is rubbish as well then Jol might find himself in trouble. The vibe around the place isn't the same, it seems we are now defensively fragile and there are too many reports of squad unrest for them not to be true. Worrying times
