If I were to be honest the man-of-the-match poll, stuck up for the Newcastle match was a bit of a no-brainer.
With Clint Dempsey having scored his second hat-trick of 2012 and in such a wonderful comeback, I expected him to romp home.
But, there was always the suspicion that instead of the goal-scorer taking the accolades somebody heavily involved in the approach play might just have influenced the Vital Fulham fraternity into plumping for another option.
No chance, Clint was a well deserved runaway winner with 46% of the vote!
