The Wrong Approach?

After seeing Fulham crash to a Blackburn side that had been reduced to ten men for the majority of the match, am I the only one disappointed in the comment made by Martin Jol, below?

"You have to give Blackburn credit. Everything seemed to go against them, but they tried to break us down all the time. They had a lot of pace - we couldn`t stop them. This could give them a new lease of life."

Instead of giving so much credit to the opposition, shouldn`t we be asking how a side with ten men managed to pop the ball around with such aplomb and cut huge swathes through our own eleven man side?

And as for giving them a new lease of life, I can`t help thinking that if our home form falters we`ll be in need of the kiss of life come the end of the season.

Can’t even begin to say how disappointed I am about the result yesterday, how have we gone from having one of the best defences in the league in the last few seasons to letting in 3 goals against 10 men. Time to get back to basics at the back and get our mean defence back again, I also agree that if our home form falters we are in serious trouble. I can’t say I’m overly impressed with Jol’s reign at the moment I never seen so much negative press concerning moral within the camp, even when it looked like we were certs to go down under Roy everybody still seemed to be working together it doesn’t feel like that now.
Our old fart of a playmaker Murphy is not capable of eeer..playmaking anymore. He needs a replacement. At least he needs a partner that will defend for him. And it's neither Dempsey nor anyone of the rest 5 attackers that were wasting away up front yesterday. It's quite probably Sidwell who was left on the bench for whole match for no ******** reason. Srsly, those new Jol's tactical tricks are worrying me already. He knows better of corse, but something was obviously wrong yesterday, wasn't it?

I here Joey barton is up for grabs anyway sometimes these things happen 10 men play like twelve lets move on and beat necastle and everton we seem to fair better against the bigger clubs anyway haveing beaten arsenal and liverpool it,s not all doom and gloom considering our away record coyw

Agree that Murphy is now past his sell by date although he will remain a Fulham legend for what he's done for the club and that goal against Portsmouth! We need to replace him but the sheer number of articles commenting on the morale in the Fulham camp since Jol took over is my biggest concern. No smoke without fire eh?
