Zamora Wanted?

Zamora Wanted?

Now here`s a strange one but would it surprise you if it happened?

All week we`ve been hearing from Bobby Zamora about how he doesn`t have a problem with Martin Jol and that he wants to stay at Craven Cottage.

Well, if we venture up the M6 we get something of a similar tale from the Aston Villa camp with Randy Lerner stating that their striker, Darren Bent, is not for sale and will not be leaving in the transfer.

So, you`d think it`s a cut and closed case with both players staying where they are, well strangely not!

Despite Lerner`s insistence that Bent is going nowhere, the Midlands club are, supposedly, casting an envious eye towards Craven Cottage to line up Zamora as a replacement for Bent if / or when, he moves on!

Strange!
