'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Looking towards Spurs!

With the transfer window open, we`re expecting some movement in and out of Craven Cottage.

With regards to somebody coming in, one tabloid has us linked with an interesting acquisition, albeit probably on loan.

The player Martin Jol is supposedly looking at is Tom Huddlestone.

Jol coached Huddlestone whilst he was in the managerial chair at White Hart Lane and one likened the player to the German legend - Franz Beckanbauer.

Huddlestone, recovering from an injury, has lost his place in the White Hart Lane pecking order since the arrival of Scott Parker.

Could this be a done deal, I guess we`ll have to wait and see!

if its a loan then great this guy would really suit the way you chaps are playing at the moment.

Huddlestone's a player the press love selling to other clubs. He didn't lose his place in the spurs team, he's been injured all year! Although I doubt he'd walk straight back in ahead of Parker/Modric he's one of only 4 senior CM's we have at the club so I can't really see this happening

Huddlestone would be great, but I doubt it's happening; not even on loan. If we're getting a Spurs midfielder, I think it's far more likely to be Kranjcar. Nothing linking him with us has been mentioned, but a healthy Huddlestone is a Spurs regular, while a healthly Kranjcar rarely features. Certainly the more likely to go. Just playing the percentages.

Agree with Truth, any player we are looking at has to be fit and ready to play.
