Fulham 2 Arsenal 1

Two late goals gave Fulham a memorable win over Arsenal.

Trailing to a first half header from Koscielny Fulham took the three points with late goals from Sidwell and Zamora.

Martin Jol restored Zamora to the side, after an absence whilst Sidwell was back from a hernia to face his former club and Senderos was also there to do his former club some damage.

Gervinho was prominent in the early stages but proved he couldn`t hit a barn door with some wayward shooting. Murphy almost gave Fulham the lead with a shot that flew over the bar after a Riise long throw had been cleared.

Zamora saw a low shot saved by the keeper after a sweeping move had capitalised on Arsenal losing possession. Gervinho had a viable penalty claim turned down after he appeared to be tripped by Senderos as he homed in on goal.

Riise, after a great run down the flank, saw his low cross just evade Zamora before, with twenty one minutes played, Arsenal took the lead with Koscielny heading home after a Ramsey ball in had caught the defence a bit static.

Straight after the gaol Stockdale performed heroics to deny Arsenal a second, first keeping out an effort from Ramsey and then milliseconds later stopping Hangeland from putting through his own net.

A ball in from Zamora earned a corner but the Gunners keeper easily claimed the ball in before a Ruiz run left defenders in his wake but the Costa Rican shot wide.

Stockdale again did well to save a flicked effort from Van Persie and also did well to save a powerful drive from Ramsey. A corner, right on the stroke of half time, saw Senderos head over the bar.

Half Time - Fulham 0 Arsenal 1

Fulham started the second half well and Ruiz saw a shot from eighteen yards saved after a patient build up. A Riise cross saw Sidwell climb to head over the bar before a shot from the same player cleared the bar from thirty-five yards out.

Dembele, as Fulham increased the pressure, shot wide with an effort from his weaker right foot before Dempsey headed a chipped cross from Ruiz just wide.

Jol introduced Frei for Murphy as the game started to look to be ours to get something form. Djourou was dismissed for a second yellow card offence but from the resulting free kick, Kelly hit the wall.

But with eighty-five minute son the clock Fulham were level. Zamora saw a shot deflected wide for a corner and when the ball was worked back in the ex-Arsenal duo of Senderos combined for Sidwell to head home from six yards out.

With three minutes of time added on Riise fired wide from thirty-five yards and Dembele sliced another shot high and wide, but just as you thought it would end all square a wayward defensive header fell to Zamora who fired home from eight yards out.

What a finish!

Who knows which Fulham will show up from week to week. I, myself, don't have a clue. Still a little bothered by that late goal at Norwich, but it's been a decent run of results. Well done, lads. Brilliant result.
