Hangeland on Europa Exit

Hangeland on Europa Exit

The fallout from our early Europa League exit is still reverberating around the Motspur Park training facility.

Having come so far but then crashing out in the cruelest of circumstances is something that is hard to come to terms with.

Speaking about our exit, Brede Hangeland had this to say,

"It`s really hard to take."

"We didn`t play a good game, but we had by far the better chances and I can`t believe we drew."

"To go out like that, with the last kick of the ball, is very, very frustrating and hard to take."

"I`ve been thinking about the fact that we started on June 23 and it feels like it was all for nothing. so it`s very disappointing."

It is, but with a fixture against Bolton this weekend, at least we`ve a decent chance to get it out of our system and move on!
