Bad News?

Back in the late summer, when Martin Jol signed John Arne Riise, column inches were generated with regards to the fact that we had both Riise brothers on our books.

Many speculated that it would only be a matter of time before they both played in a Premier League match for us.

Well it looks as if that may not happen.

Reports in the tabloid press suggest that Bjorn Helge Riise`s time with Fulham is coming to an end with the club looking to offload the player in the January transfer window.

The player has recently been on a loan spell, on the south coast, with Portsmouth, but was unable to make an impact in their first team and subsequently returned to Craven Cottage.

The article, in the tabloid press, goes on to infer that Bjorn Helge has failed to live up to the expectation levels generated upon his arrival, hence the reported decision to offload him in January.

We`ll keep you posted.
