Dembele Move?

Dembele Move?

The sheer audacity of it!

Just who do Spurs think they are?

Having robbed us of any point sin a Sunday afternoon thriller at Craven Cottage, the word on the street is that the White Hart Lane outfit are now looking to deprive us of the services of Moussa Dembele.

The grapevine is alive with the inference that Spurs are set to launch a £10 million bid for the player, possibly in the January transfer window.

Dembele, who gave Spurs the runaround on Sunday, is well thought of by Martin Jol with our Dutch manager remarking about the player,

"Moussa Dembele is a very gifted player. He gave Tottenham lots of problems."

"In a few months, maybe a year, he will be like Rafa van der Vaart.

"Dembele will learn and go on to become one of the best players in the Premier League."

Now I was hoping that would be with us on the banks of the River Thames not at some rundown suburb of N17!

Dembele's a good player. If he improves on his finishing I'd be glad to have him at Spurs. Think he owes Fulham a bit more time, though.

he does look a good player, especially against Spurs it would seem. I think he is perhaps better playing just behind a striker, but when he runs at a defence, he looks a very inpressive player

Dembele is undoubtedly skillful and he looks dangerous running at defenders, but what he really needs to improve on is his positioning and passing. How often have we seen Zamora or Johnson forced out onto the wing, putting the cross in expecting the midfield to have pushed into the box only to see Dembele still back on the halfway line? It's not as if we could expect old man Murphy to steam into the box in such circumstances! Anyway, good player.. not worth 10 million though!
