That Zamora Let-Off

It was one of those moments that left us all open mouthed in amazement.

With the game delicately poised at 1-1 and with the clock ticking down, who`d have put money on Bobby Zamora rounding Tim Howard and shooting wide from point blank range?

What followed, with Everton grabbing two late goals to snatch all three points only served to compound the miss.

Afterwards, both managers gave a wry comment on the miss, first David Moyes,

"When Zamora rounded our keeper, I thought it was all over."

And so did we!

Secondly, Martin Jol,

"He`s sick, they`re all sick. There is nothing you can say to Bobby."

Apart from put it behind you and move on, even the best have missed like that before!

Well, Zamora's certainly had a few of those in his time with us. Good with the bad, though. He's still the best we have.
