He Wants to Stay!

He Wants to Stay!

In recent days much has been said about the future of Andrew Johnson.

Some sources had reported that Johnson had turned down a new two year deal and that he`d be off as soon as his contract runs out or quicker if a buyer can be found.

Well AJ doesn`t see it that way and has issued comments to that effect and implying that he wants to stay at Craven Cottage, remarking,

"Of course I want to stay. I think all you`ve got to do is look at my performance against Odense."

"I`ve been in talks with the club for a while, but it has been a busy period."

"We`ve just come out of the transfer window, and we`ve had new players settling in, so it is something that is ongoing - but hopefully it will be resolved."

Great to hear it AJ!
