Fulham 6 QPR 0

You wait for one win to come along and suddenly you get two in a matter of days as Fulham stuffed their near-neighbours, QPR, 6-0!

Quite an achievement when you think we`d only scored four goals all season in the Premier League before today!

After the trip to Denmark, Zamora and Dembele were both declared fit although Aaron Hughes missed out again.

Fulham didn`t have to wait long to take the lead with Andrew Johnson, adding to his midweek tally, by scoring the fastest goal in the Premier League this season. Paddy Kenny could only beat away a shot from Dembele and Johnson, using his strikers` instincts, slotted home.

Matters went from bad to worse for the visitors when Kenny slipped up a second time when he brought Johnson down after rushing out of his goal, the incident coming after he`d made a fine save from a Johnson volley. Murphy stepped forward and easily made it 2-0.

QPR, despite all their investment in players allied with the ball possession they were having, were creating nothing and as half time approached Fulham got a third. It came after Dempsey had a shot blocked and Zamora provided the easiest of chances for Johnson to net his second brace in two games.

Fulham could have had further goals before the break with Zamora and Murphy both trying their luck but Kenny held firm. 3-0 at half time and the game was as good as won.

Trying to shake things up, Neil Warnock made two changes at half time bringing on Tommy Smith and DJ Campbell but it still remained all Fulham.

A quick free kick from Murphy caught the QPR defence napping and Johnson was on it in a flash to slam the ball past Kenny for his hat-trick.

By now there was no stopping Fulham and Dempsey got his name on the score-sheet, to make it 5-0, racing onto a flick by Zamora with the American calmly beating Kenny.

With still half of the second half to go, Zamora was rewarded for all his good work with Fulham`s sixth goal with the striker netting after cutting in from the right and beating Kenny from just inside the area.

6-0, it`s a day Fulham supporters will remember for a long time and a day that will give us bragging rights over the lot from Shepherds Bush for a few weeks!

Finally the Johnson/Zamora partnership looked like we'd always hoped it would. What a match.
