Zamora`s England Quest!

Having missed a huge chunk of last season, courtesy of the leg injury picked up against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bobby Zamora failed to add to his solitary England cap.

Instead he`s been forced to take a back seat as the likes of Darren Bent, Danny Welbeck and the emerging Daniel Sturridge force their way into contention.

Bobby though hasn`t given up on adding to his tally of one cap but is prepared to go about it his own way, admitting,

"It`s obviously an honour to play for England or even be in the squad so I`ll keep working away."

"But we`ve got a lot of great strikers in England."

"I`ll just keep on working here and if I do get in there, then brilliant."

Keep the faith Bobby; you`re as good as any of them!

i think he has a place on the team eventually, he just needs to get back to the form he had two seasons ago...
