'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Brazil Win at Cottage!

It`s always great to see international football grace Craven Cottage.

Its unique setting as one of the last traditional grounds, in London, allied with its riverside location, gives any game a certain feel to it.

Last night, in conditions that were far removed from those the two international sides of Brazil and Ghana would have preferred to play in, it was the former who emerged victorious by a solitary goal.

Sadly, the game was somewhat soured by the dismissal of the Ghanaian, Daniel Opare, for two yellow cards in the first half.

Nevertheless, Leandro Damiao will no doubt remember the occasion well as it was he who scored the winning goal, his first for the national side.

Hopefully, we`ll see further international sides grace our pitch in the near future.
