Stockdale Called Up!
Out on loan, in leafy Suffolk, times have been hard for David Stockdale.
On a season long loan deal with Ipswich Town, Stockdale could be forgiven for getting a bad back constantly picking the ball out of the back of the net courtesy of a defence that shipped six against Sheffield Wednesday and then seven against Peterborough United.
Thankfully, the trend was reversed this weekend when Ipswich got a creditable win over Leeds United.
But this glut of goals doesn`t appear to have harmed Stockdale`s international prospects with Fabio Capello including the youngster in his squad for the Euro 2012 qualifier against Bulgaria this weekend.
