U21 Call-Up!

Our congratulations go to Matthew Briggs.

Our young defender, admired by many, has, after a good start to the campaign mainly in the Europa League, has been called up by Stuart Pearce for the England U21 squad that face two games against Azerbaijan and Israel in September.

We wish him well.

he's a good player, and i hope he gets to play this year some... we need to hold onto our youth, as we're developing internation players... smalling getting the call up too? our academy is seeming to prove itself...

Very happy for him it's no more than he has deserves, every time he’s turned out for the first team he’s played well I hope he gets more starts this year as woody says it would be good to see the academy start to deliver some players into the first team
