Lopes Linked!

Lopes Linked!

Now that Carlos Salcido has departed for Mexico, the tabloid rush to link us with a replacement full-back has started in earnest.

We`ve already covered the possibility of Fulham, supposedly, being interested in Luke Young, of Aston Villa, and today the tabloid press has thrown another name into the hat.

Today, an article has appeared that has us linked with a £1.4 million move for the Porto full-back - Miguel Lopes.

Lopes, was deemed as surplus to requirements last season, being loaned out to Real Betis by the then manager, Andre Villas-Boas, and it seems that being surplus to requirements remains the case under the new Porto boss.

Could this be a deal to keep a quiet eye on?
