AJ Contract Extension!
It`s been one of those summers, a time whereby I`ve never quite been sure as to who would be coming and who would be going.
One player who has been regularly mentioned as being a possible target for other clubs is Andrew Johnson.
But, it`s now looking very much like AJ has a future at Craven Cottage with the likes of Leicester City and West Ham seeing any potential interest quashed with Martin Jol commenting,
"Andy is probably the only player in England who can do two jobs in one - screening and making the runs and stretching defences."
"He is doing very well which is why we will talk to him to extend his contract over the next month."
"It will be a year`s extension."
Now let`s hope AJ can stay fit for the season!
