Cameron Update!

Cameron Update!

Jerome not David!

For the third time in less than a week, we`ve been linked with a move for the Birmingham striker, Cameron Jerome.

This time around the suggestion is that Martin Jol will be authorizing a bid, thought to be in the region of £5 million for the twenty-four year old forward.

Credence is given to the suggestion by implying that Jerome is required now that our fire-power has been diminished by the loss of Zoltan Gera.

I think he's a good player and a solid backup for Zamora (in style), but £5m is too much. Wouldn't go over £3m.

He isn't anything special yet, but neither was Zamora when we bought him. And at 24 he has a long time to improve. I read that the bid may have been in the £4 mill mark. Who knows with this media?

3 goals in 34 league games... is this really considered "fire power"? he needs to improve those statistics if he's going to displace anybody from the starting lineup!
