Ipswich or Leeds?

It could be goodbye to David Stockdale, for a while, this week.

It appears that the young keeper, who we signed from Darlington, has to decide whether to join either of Ipswich Town or Leeds United, on loan for the season.

Any chance of a move to Premier League Swansea City appears to have been vetoed by Martin Jol.

With Stockdale being a Leeds United supporter, we have our ideas where he might well land up!

Sounds like there are going to be a few issues with him signing for Leeds. They're unwilling to agree to our request to have a 24 hour recall clause in his loan deal. Fair enough because I see Smogyi being no more than a backup and would be great to have Stockdale available if Schwarzer was to get badly injured. I'd say whichever team agrees to that clause will get him

LEEDS WOULD BE HIS CHOICE BEING HIS HOME TOWN IF THEY GOT PROMOTED WE COULD LOSE HIM

Agree with Truth here, we don't want to set up a potential banana skin. Ipswich seem to be offering the better deal though from what the media are speculating.

go with the team that allows the recall clause... what if schwarzer goes down for the season?

Looks like he will probably go to Ipswich as Leeds have just signed Preston goalkeeper Andy Lonergan.
