Johnson Contract Talks!

All talk of a possible Craven Cottage exit for Andrew Johnson looks to have been just that - talk.

Rumours of a move to newly promoted Queens Park Rangers appear to have been just that with Martin Jol confirming after the 4-0 victory over Crusaders, in the Europa League that talks are in progress to ensure Johnson stays at Craven Cottage.

With a year left on his current contract, Jol has admitted,

"We are talking with him and his agent so there is no problem."

"He has two goals already, he was not satisfied with last season so hopefully we can keep him fit."

If we can keep both Johnson and Zamora fit, unlike last season, then we could finally reap the rewards of our expenditure and see the pair playing in tandem, something that has been a rarity.

This is a simple matter of money. If we can get back a decent percentage of what we paid for him, then sell him. If not, then keep him.
