Hughton Wish Doomed?

Martin Jol`s apparent desire to recruit Chris Hughton as his second in command has still to come to fruition.

The tabloid press harp on about Jol recreating the team that were in place at White Hart Lane whilst he was in charge there, but Hughton`s ambition to be a number one looks like forcing Jol to look elsewhere.

The latest inference is that Hughton is amongst the favourites to land either the vacant Watford or Birmingham positions, although we`d imagine the latter would be the better of the two appointments.

It could be time for Jol to cast his sights elsewhere!

true....i would have been very surprised if he had come....
Leonestar
Don't know why he doesn't make Ray Lewington his number 2, he knows the club very well and deserves his chance.
Oldwolf
Lewington has been a fantastic and loyal member of the club. He deserves his chance, but football is rarely fair.
