Jol Cool on Icelandic Star!

Now we`re not sure if Eidur Gudjohnsen dithered over signing the one year contract that was apparently offered to him or whether circumstances have contrived that prevented the deal being finalised.

Either way, the sudden departure of Mark Hughes and the subsequent appointment of Martin Jol, has seen the thirty-two year old Icelandic international deemed as surplus to requirements.

Now a free agent, Eidur could be clearing out his Craven Cottage locker to join newly promoted Swansea, if the tabloid press have, as we assume, got all their ducks in a row!
