'If It's Football, It's Vital'

And the 'Quote of the Month` Is?

As far as quotes go and if we were to have a quote of the month competition, I reckon one delivered by Mr Al Fayed yesterday would win hands down.

Announcing the appointment of Martin Jol as our new manager, Mr Al Fayed took a hefty dig at the departed Mark Hughes by sniping,

"Now we have a long term manager."

Absolutely top-notch I`d say!

2 year deal with an option... is it a club option? that would be ideal... whomever wrote the previous contract is really at fault... why should he be allowed to walk after one year?

because were you not desperate when Hughes took over after Hodgson had left and Jol stalled on coming?
