Mark Hughes may not have had any specific job lined up when he quit as manager of Fulham but his name is fast being linked with vacant positions.

As we reported yesterday, after an earlier denial by Aston Villa, our news sources are inferring that Hughes is in the running for the vacant Aston Villa job an dour news source is suggesting that he`ll be interviewed along with Steve McClaren and Rafael Benitez.

Hughes is also linked with the vacant position at Athletic Bilbao with the La Liga side keen to talk to Hughes and the Wigan boss, Roberto Martinez.
