Ex-Boss Back in Villa Frame?

Although Aston Villa issued a statement proclaiming that Mark Hughes was not on their potential list of candidates to replace Gerard Houllier circumstances may have changed.

The announcement that Carlo Ancelotti is taking a twelve month sabbatical may have thrown Villa`s recruitment plans awry, with one news agency sounding quite assured in their theory that Hughes is, now, very much in the running to take over managing Randy Lerner`s club.

Part of me hopes the rumour is true; I`d love our paths to cross again!

truth sayer ffc
i think it's a bit of hindsight in that we can say we'd rather not have a manager that didn't want to be here... the manner in which we were left in the lurch, it's better he left early in the summer than later...
