Salcido Offer Rejected!

Although it is widely accepted that Carlos Salcido will be leaving Fulham this summer, it looks like he could well be going on our terms.

After declaring that he wanted to return home after his family had encountered problems in London, it appears that Monterrey approached Fulham to take the thirty-one year old home.

However, the word from Mexico is that the offer was declined with the Mexican club issuing a statement that read,

'We inform you that we have received a response from Fulham Football Club of England, declining our offer to sign Carlos Salcido.'

Furthermore, it`s also being mentioned that Mark Hughes wants to keep the defender, even though other Mexican clubs, such as Chivas and Pachuca are getting ready to launch bids.

Just sell him. He's not good enough. He only cost 1.6m. Just ask for 1m and be done with it.

On second thought, I take that back. Keep him at least until January. He's not good enough week in, week out for the PL, but we have Europa League to deal with and we'll need a second leftback on the roster. Let's see if we're still in EL come January.
