A Victim of Broken Britain!

Yesterday the news broke that Carlos Salcido was looking to leave Craven Cottage and head back to Mexico.

Since we reported the story, more has come to light.

It appears that Carlos has fallen foul of broken Britain and that his desire to leave England has come about after his family were the victims of a robbery.

Talking about the situation, ahead of an enticing final fixture of the season, at home to Arsenal, Mark Hughes had this to say about how the situation was,

"They initially came over with Carlos, but he had a robbery at his house and it was a bit upsetting for his family. They couldn`t settle after that."

"We are hopeful it can be resolved to a positive conclusion by him staying."

"But if it isn`t, then he may need to look at his options, because he needs to be with his family."

"We need to protect our position and he obviously knows that."

"There is a lot of dialogue going on with regards to how to resolve it, but at the moment it is a little bit up in the air."

"We have been aware of his situation for a while now and he has done well in the circumstances."

"But we might be forced to look at other options."

Indeed we will, with us believing that we could well be seeing Carlos play for the last time in a Fulham shirt tomorrow!
