'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Eidur Latest!

The future of our Icelandic international, Eidur Gudjohnsen, is discussed in the red-top press this morning.

Gudjohnsen, on a season long loan spell from Stoke City, is a free agent at the end of this campaign and has been uttering all the right words in relation to becoming a Fulham player on a permanent basis.

As he`d be out of contract, there`d only be the matter of his contract length and salary to discuss, no transfer fee.

But, just as you thought life was looking to be quite simple, along come newly promoted Queens Park Rangers.

The Loftus Road outfit, if the gossip-mongers are correct, are eyeing up Gudjohnsen, who has made 10 appearances for Fulham this season, with a view to the Icelandic star bolstering their squad next season.

Now we don`t know if Eidur`s head will be turned by their supposed interest but if a move were to go through, we`d be intrigued to know if anybody could recall any other player that has played top-flight football for the three big West London clubs of Fulham, Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers and also not forgetting he's also played for Spurs!
