Baggies Closing in on Johnson?

Baggies Closing in on Johnson?

Under the expert stewardship of Roy Hodgson, West Bromwich Albion, much like ourselves, cruised away from the relegation battle.

Looking to strengthen his side for the campaign next season, the tabloid press are reporting (again) that Andrew Johnson is a target for West Brom.

Johnson, a player Hodgson signed for an enormous fee of £10.5 million, in August 2008, could be the subject of a £4 million bid from the West Midlands club.

Depreciation or what?

I think we should hold out for a bit more than that if we can, if we sell him we'll need to replace him especially if we get the Europa League spot as the squad will need to be increased to cope with the extra games. But it all depends on what MAF does with the purse strings; I hope he has enough faith in Hughes to give him money to spend

i'd wait for more money as well, oldwolf, considering he still contributes and hopefully we'll be in europe... but we do need to look into shipping him out and getting SOME money for him, considering how much he cost and how much he's been injured...
