Not As Bad as Newcastle

Time to look on the bright side!

Following on from that disastrous result last night it is hard to take any positives from a performance whereby you go 3-0 down so quickly.

But we think we`ve found one!

Apparently that three-goal early blitz from Liverpool, where they scored three times in the first sixteen minutes, wasn`t quite good enough to put our names in the record books as the team that conceded three goals in the Premier League in the quickest time.

That record belongs to Newcastle who, this season, conceded three goals in 9 minutes against Arsenal.

Small comfort I know!

true that... would have been acceptable had we worked a draw...

As noble as the fightback was, you can thank the referee for not losing that match, jdckelly.
Teddy_KGB
Teddy_KGB actually it could be said the referee cost us the game, we had a perfectly good goal ruled out. So, even if that were to even out the (admittedly) soft penalty then a draw was the correct result?

I think 4:0 record is Newcastle's too.
