Fulham - Kamara Admission

Having dropped down into the Championship, it transpires that Diomansy Kamara didn`t, on a personal level, enjoy the experience as much as he should have done.

Talking to the media, following Leicester City`s failure to gain a play-off place, Kamara mused over his spell there reflecting on his own contribution,

"I`m unhappy we didn`t get to the play-offs, we have a great team."

"And I`m bitterly disappointed with my own performance. I honestly know I can do much better."

"Two goals in seven games wasn`t good enough - if I can come back I`ll try to do much better."

"Returning is possible. We can have a strong squad next season and can go up."

We doubt whether Fulham would be interested in another loan move, instead we surmise they`d be more interested in a sale to generate funds for investment elsewhere, especially if Kamara is seen as not being an integral part of the first team squad next season.

If I recall correctly, he was a £6m transfer. We'll be lucky to see £1.5m on his exit.

truth sayer ffc
he's a sunken cost at this point, get what you can and move on... i'd be more disappointed if he figured into the future plans of the club...
