Having won two on the bounce, both by 3-0, it`s a little disappointing to have to wait until Monday night for our clash with Liverpool.
But, with both sides in good form it does promise to be a cracker and a treat to serve up to the nation as the season comes to an end.
Mark Hughes, keen to drive his side on, has challenged them to win their last three games, thereby ending the season with five straight wins and accumulating a points total of 54 which would be our highest ever points total in a Premier League campaign, beating the 53 we set when Roy Hodgson took us to seventh place.
Speaking about the possibility, Hughes had this to say,
'If we get maximum points out of every game we have left then I think that's the highest total ever that a Fulham team has reached in the Premier League."
'So that's a challenge for us and that's something that we'll use as a motivation going into these last three games."
'It could've been easy to switch off after the Bolton result, to be fair, because we were safe or near as damn it."
'But I didn't see any inkling that that's what the players were feeling when we went up against Sunderland."
'So it's more of the same for the games we have remaining."
And to think we were worried about dropping through that trap-door not too long ago!
