AJ to join Roy?

The papers have come up with an interesting article suggesting that Andrew Johnson is linked in a £3.5million deal to join the Baggies in the summer.

It is suggested that he has struggled with injuries and may not be offered an extension on his contact which has a year to run.

So Fulham may be looking to cash in!

Well if they want AJ he would surely cost more!

We brought Greening for close to that amount, did we not?

Can you compare Greening to AJ?

With the chance of European football and living in London will AJ stay and take his chance on proving himself next year and thus getting an extension on his contract.

Or does Hughes not see him in the team and will Fulham cash in?

As I understood it, a return to London was the primary motivation for joining Fulham in the first place, so I'd be surprised if he left for WBA. I have heard rumors of him going to QPR, which would make more sense. AJ has been a good player when healthy, but too many injuries during his time here. £3.5m is way too low, though. Surely at least £5m is required, and even that would represent a loss for us.

I am afraid that AJ is well past his best. He has lost a yard or two and is easily brushed off the ball. If we can get £3.5 to 5 miliion for him we should grab it.

oh goodness if we could give greening back i would be in heaven... think of it, roy could ask for a package of cast-offs and get them cheap... painstil, greening, kamara, gera, maybe aj... how much would that package run... 18 to 20 mil?
