Fulham - Hughes Wanted?

After being, weakly, linked by the tabloid press to a move to Stamford Bridge, id our neighbours decide to sack Carlo Ancelotti, Mark Hughes, this morning, finds himself in the frame for another Premier League job.

With Gerrard Houlier, currently, in no fit state to continue to manage Aston Villa on a full time basis, one member of the tabloid press fraternity has Hughes in the frame as a possible candidate to take on the Villa position on a full time basis.

The tabloid mischievously infers that it could be a straight choice, for Villa, between Hughes and David Moyes at Everton.

We`ll just have to wait and see if anything happens with regards to this one won`t we!

I don't see the attraction. Hughes will stay.

Can't imagine Moyes leaving Everton for Villa (no disrespect intended), but I COULD see Hughes being tempted. Anyone keeping tabs on Martin Jol?
Teddy_KGB
is villa's stadium bigger? i don't see them as a bigger club, but i guess they are...
woodysweats
Villa Park holds 42K and attendance averages somewhere around 35K, and most of the time they finish above us in the table, so while 'bigger' is a matter of perception, I'd call them a bigger club.
Teddy_KGB
Hughes or Moyes?! Sounds unreal! I remember they were trying to hire Bob Bradley last summer, not even thinking bout Hughes. I doubt they've become bigger ever since!

If we get europa league next season i doubt he will go....but then only mark hughes knows!
Leonestar
I reckon he'll stay but I have been wrong before - many times!
