Dempsey the Fulham Record Breaker

Two goals, last night, were enough to put Clint Dempsey in the record books.

Those two strikes, one in each half, against Bolton Wanderers, allowed Clint to sneak ahead of Brian McBride and Steed Malbranque to become the highest Premier League scorer for our fine club.

Dempsey now has 33 Premier League career goals to his name, in our colours, whilst the two aforementioned gentlemen have 32

Our congratulations go to Clint and hopefully he can grab a few more before his Fulham career eventually comes to an end.

Bravo, Deuce. He's been a good player for us for several years, but Dempsey's really turned the corner this season and taken the proverbial 'next step.' Wonder if some bigger clubs might come after him this summer. Hope not.

My thoughts exactly Teddy.

he's a weird one because he needs liberty to roam as he attacks... he's not an out and out winger, so he doesn't really fit into most teams... that being said, i'll be happy when the transfer window closes...
woodysweats
I hope he stays.....heres to us celebrating his 50 goals sometime in the future!

wel done Clint, although Bobby may have eyes on your record!
