Greening Forest Bound?

I half expected Jonathan Greening to be one of those that moved on in he transfer window.

Unable to secure a regular starting place and with his contract expiring in 2012, Greening appeared to be up for grabs.

Rumour had it that Nottingham Forest fancied taking the player to the City Ground but nothing concrete materialized.

But it would appear that their interest hasn`t receded with it today being reported, by several news sources, that Billy Davies is keen to take the midfielder and will be making a move in this summer.

In a cash conscience world, Billy is, according to reports, hoping he`ll get Greening on the cheap thinking that his contract situation allied with the fact he`s not a regular starter, will convince Fulham to strike a deal!

Won't be missed. One of Roy's very few mistakes.

I think he's done alright as a fill in and cover for others, but yes long term I think we could do better.
