Fulham - Zamora on his First Start!

Fulham - Zamora on his First Start!

That was just the tonic we needed!

Bobby Zamora., making his first start since that incident involving Karl Henry that resulted in a long lay-off, showed he`d not lost any of his goal-scoring prowess.

His two goal burst put us well on the way to taking all three points and afterwards Bobby had a few words for the media, commenting,

"I`m pleased to play and over the moon to score. I try to bring other people into play. The goals are a bonus."

"Frustrating watching on? I think the guys have done brilliantly. The performances have been there."

They certainly have in the last few weeks and whilst we go on about avoiding dropping into the bottom three perhaps we should be looking at gate-crashing the top seven or eight!

And as for Mark Hughes verdict on the return of our top-scorer from last season,

"This was the perfect game for him and we couldn`t have asked for a better impact because he showed qualities that we have missed and lacked."

He certainly did, especially that fantastic finish for the first goal.

Great play from Zamora. Completely changed our style of attack. Dembele was loving the space he was being given.
