Fulham - That Statue!

Running this site can give me some sleepless nights.

I`m perfectly aware that one wrong sentence, or even one wrong word can upset the legal apple-cart.

I`m also perfectly aware that my financial status will not support a hefty court battle to prove a point.

Therefore whilst I`d just love to rip into that Michael Jackson statue I have to err on the side of caution and not run the risk of upsetting Mr Fayed.

But whilst I`m prepared to sit on the fence I`m sure you have your own views on the subject, now that it has been unveiled.

Even more so after Mr Al Fayed let rip at all those who have not exactly approved of the statue with our owner commenting,

"Fulham fans will love it. If some stupid fans don`t understand and appreciate such a gift they can go to hell."

"I don`t want them to be fans. If they don`t understand and don`t believe in things I believe in then they can go to Chelsea, they can go anywhere else."

"People will queue to come and visit it from all over the UK and it is something that I and everybody else should be proud of."

Like I said, I`m sitting on the fence.

But as for you, I`d welcome your views.

Or better still take a punt in our poll and give us your views!

I’m not really sure what a family orientated football club and the world’s most famous **** have in common, unless Mo thinks that Fulham is a good place for ****s to look for children to abuse, or is he trying to say that if you bring your kids to Fulham they will only be interfered with by famous people, either way I hope someone tips in the Thames as soon as possible.
Oldwolf
Sorry oldwolf i respect your right to voice your opinion but the tone and suggestive language is disgraceful!!! WE ARE FULHAM! and not a bunch of ignorant thugs. I wonder if you were feeling like this when Mo was on tv just before the europa final. Who got us there...his money...what keeps us in the prem...his money....who has transformed the cottage and still kept its history.....his money. If he wants to show his feelings in this way then all due respect! Oh and finally dont disrespect the dead and especially such a great artist! Bet you have your favourite M J songs. Please next time think before you write.
Leonestar
Im more worried about Mo's handling of the whole fiasco. Seeing so many against it and telling them to go support Chelsea.... more concerning than the statue itself.
B_e_a_r_
indeed they say even bad publicity is good he has raised our profile a bit higher as for going and watching chelsea as good a team as they are its not where the heart is M J RIP coyw

What next? You going to rename one of the stands after Gary Glitter? The poll seems to indicate Fulham have become a laughing stock

That's sad if some poeple (obviously stupid ones) will now recognize us for the statue, not for our successes, Zamoras and so. Ol' Mo could see that coming. Fine trolling act though! Tries cottager's devotion, huh!

what what would old tommy trinder have said who you may well ask you lucky people
truth sayer ffc
i don't like the statue... i appreciate the fact that mo can do what he wants... i love mj's music... and i think he's a terrible person, probably due the fact that he had an awful father and an awful childhood... i think all those thoughts can exist at once and not be contradictory...
