Hughes a Fulham Doubt!

They have been the mainstay of our defence all season but now there may be a change forced on Mark Hughes.

One of the excellent partnership of Aaron Hughes and Brede Hangeland, namely Aaron, is fighting to be fit for our clash with Blackpool this Sunday, after picking up an injury on international duty at the weekend.

Hughes, injured a shoulder in the fixture against Serbia and has returned to Craven Cottage for treatment with the Northern Ireland boss, Nigel Worthington, remarking,

"Aaron didn`t travel to Belfast with us on Saturday, instead he got a flight to London for a scan on his shoulder and it revealed some damage."

"Fulham are going to let it settle down for a few days before seeing if the problem needs some further work."

I guess we`ll have to wait until later in the week for further news, let`s hope it is good news.

AWFUL timing for this. Hope it's minor. If Senderos is not fit, I guess we'll see Baird or Halliche. Baird's not great in CD, but a decent fill-in. Halliche is yet unproven in the PL.

Baird can cover Anywhere! Also Salcido's decent at CB too
