It's still over a week away, with many international games to be played in the days between, although Mark Schwarzer is already gearing up for a vital game next weekend.
Fulham's run of games without defeat came to an end last weekend with a 2-1 loss at Everton, which left the club just three points above the drop zone and that makes the game against Blackpool next Sunday all the more important.
The Aussie knows just how important this game is, he told the official website: 'it's a huge game, we know it's going to be a very difficult game. They've shown on their away trips that they're a very difficult team to play against.
'They've done tremendously well this season and we know we're in for a very tough game. But we believe, especially at home, that we should be picking up three points.
'No games are easy, if you look at any of our games throughout the whole season, none of our games have been easy.
'That's why it's imperative that we get results at home and also nick some points away from home - then we'll be looking up the table as opposed to down the table.'
Blackpool are still looking over their shoulders and whatever the outcome of this game there will still be plenty of twists and turns left this season.
If Fulham can collect all three points though it will make things a little more comfortable.
