'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jackson - Are You Serious?

Now this should strike up a healthy debate!

I know, especially considering the recent release of our financial status, that we should be, and indeed are, very thankful for the fact that we have Mr Al Fayed on board, but is there anyone else out there who seems more than a little puzzled about the plans currently being reported on numerous news sites.

Know I know Mr Al Fayed and the artist - Michael Jackson, were close associates but why a statue of him at Craven Cottage?

Mr Al Fayed may gush forth the following comments,

"And I hope that Fulham fans will appreciate seeing the finest performer in the world amongst them, the finest fans in the world."

But I`m sure the Fulham support would have preferred a statue of another of our footballing greats to sit alongside the legendary Johnny Haynes, or have I read the whole situation wrong?

It is an absolutely absurd idea! There's nothing to be done about it as we owe him absolutely everything, but this is just embarrassing. For **** sakes, Mo - put the statue at your house. Don't sully Craven Cottage with this rubbish.

Good one teddy...I totally agree, we have many legends that deserve a statue ....but where would be without big mo? So if a Jackson statue keeps him dipping in his pocket for fulham and we continue to reside at the cottage, im ok. Well sort the toilets out!

it's super odd... particularly since he ended his career in such an favourable fashion, with all the child molestation accusations... quite odd...

I hear that Hugh Grant is a Fulham fan. Perhaps, he'll get a statue as well.
