Fulham - Losses Unveiled

The financial perils of being involved with atop-flight football club are perfectly illustrated by the latest set of financial figures to emerge from Craven Cottage.

They show that despite the glory of reaching the Europa League Final in Hamburg, a run that reputedly generated an income of £12.5 million our financial losses doubled to £17 million.

The actual figures we stumbled upon in a tabloid showed that our annual loss went up from £6 million to £16.9 million.

The reason given that the money was spent on player investments to maintain our status.

Thank goodness we`ve Mr Al Fayed on our side is all I`ll say.

Al Fayed has once again has confirmed his backing, but long-term this needs to get sorted. He won't be around forever and unless we just accept that we'll have to sell every 'Saha' and 'Smalling' that comes through the ranks, I just don't see how we'll make it without him; unless another sugar daddy shows up, that is.
Well he sold harrods to the Qatars so why not fulham....they are stupidly rich....like the man city owners! Richer than that lot up the road that would be great. Probably buy back smalling from Man u. Now would not that be ironic. Oh my dreams!
interesting... we must have spent a lot on players as we've made a profit not counting transfer fees, according to the fulham website...
I must admit when he first bought us I had some serious misgivings about why he did it, we weren't exactly a good prospect at the time, but fortunately I have been proved completely wrong on that count and now I wouldn’t want anyone else at the helm, long may he continue to help our club progress.
he has been a ffc fan for 35 years in this day and age only a few clubs are not in debt but we do need a bigger ground to progress coyw
truth sayer ffc
Oh, and now we have to tolerate a Michael Jackson statue at the Cottage. FFS, Mo! Gimme a break! Over a barrel, we are.
